Rambert
Rambert:
Rambert comprises a sequence of photographs created within the collaborative environment of rehearsal and training. These images do not focus on dance as spectacle or finished product, but rather on the foundational conditions that enable movement: repetition, concentration, discipline, and sustained effort over time.
Although the photographs were taken at various moments, the sequence intentionally resists the notion of a decisive instant. The images unfold within a continuous present. Bodies move through the frame, return, overlap, and blur. The result is not choreography as performance. Instead, it is the documentation of practice as lived experience.
The dancers are not depicted as perfected ideals. Instead, they are shown as individuals engaged in an ongoing process: attentive, committed, and fully present within their practice.
